Happy Birthday Mom!

Wanna give a big shout out to my Mom, because today is her birthday. I was so mean to her too. heh. Rob and I went out to get her a cake and some Deluxe fish & chips, since that's her fave fast food. Then we come home, I sit at the table, open the bag fof fish & chips, and start eating. She didn't take long to say "What?!?! Why didn't you pick me up something too??" I said that I didn't have time, I had to cram the food in and get to work. I couldn't keep it up long though, poor thing. So, while she was eating her F&C, Rob get her cake out and put some candles in it, and I brought her over her african violets, and found the cutesy little sewing basket we had bought a couple of months ago and put away. She loved it all. Her cake is HUGE. I feel bad for not making her a cake, but I honestly didn't have time to decorate a cake this week. It would have had to have happened yesterday, and we had Susanne's 3 little ladies over yesterday morning, so I had no time there to make a cake. ^_^ Too much cuteness going on, I wouldn't have been able to concentrate. I think Mom liked the cake we bought though; we were going to buy her one of those little birthday cakes at Sobey's, because if we bought a big cake, we'd have to help eat it. But, when we got to Sobey's, they had no little cakes (ack!). But, they did have a quarter of a chocolate lovers cake. It was like 3 layers high, and the cut sides had also been frosted, and had little crunchy cookie bits as a coating. Man, it looked SO choclatey. She couldn't believe it when we said we weren't going to help her eat it. ahaha, she's probably got it all gone now. hehhe
