Menu Foods, a company that produces dozens of major brands of dog and cat foods, is currently issuing a huge North American (Canada, US, and Mexico) recall of some of it's pet foods. Affected are meat cuts in gravy type foods, for both dogs and cats, in cans and pouches. A full list of products can be found here: http://menufoods.com/recall/, or you can also call 1-866-895-2708. There's 48 brands of dog food affected, and 40 brands of cat food. Make sure to carefully check the list, there's a lot of brands on there, even "no name" local brands like Compliments from Sobeys and President's Choice from Loblaws. At least 10 animals have died so far, and many more have gotten very sick and suffered from kidney failure.
Thank god we haven't fed our babies anything off of the list.
