I've always been supportive of animal shelters (non-kill shelters), and animal rescues. A few of us were talking about animals at work today, and I got to looking online for rescues in my area. I was really surprised about how many I found listed just on one page. The Maritime Animal Rescue has dozens animal shelters here in East Coast Canada.
