A Shopping We….Went
A few weeks ago I had a fun afternoon out shopping for crafty stuffs. First, I went to the Stamper’s Den in Highfield Square, and got some supplies that I have anyways wanted to try, but couldn’t find anywhere in Moncton to get them, and handn’t gotten around to ordering them online yet, so that was awesome. I got:
Twinkling H2O watercolor paints (LOVE these!!), silver and gold foil border stickers, crown rubber stamp (this will get lots of use!), bingo cards (these were at the collar store, as was the package of tropical confetti in the upper right corner), cardstock squares with a pretty leafy design laser cut out of them, stickles, and a cool floral stamp, queen anne’s lace I believe.
Then, I went to a store that sells fabrics, and a whole bunch of trims, and got a whole load of velvet laces, pearly trims, and little do dads for assemblage and collage projects:
Then I met up with Rox, and we went to a little junk-packed antique store (my favorite kind!!), where I got some vintage Xmas tin light decorations, and a bunch of paper ephemera:
The Newfoundland folder is full of vintage brochures, which I’m going to use in my Newfoundland scrapbook, the notebook is full of hand written notes on 5th grade Nature class, I’ve already gotten lots of use out of it!
I also have a cool idea for the remaining tin stars that I haven’t already used, so I’ll post pics when I get them done.
